Mackerel, caught in the coastal waters of Great Britain, are rich in flavour, with vibrant silver skin, and naturally firm, succulent texture. Mackerel’s depth of flavour lends itself beautifully to simple, refined cooking methods: • Pan-sear for crisp skin and a moist, tender centre. • Grill with herbs or citrus for a fresh, bright finish. • Bake for a softer, more delicate result. Naturally high in Omega-3 and known for its distinctive, satisfying taste, these mackerel fillets bring an easy sense of everyday luxury to both quick midweek meals and more polished dishes. Please note that our filleters take the bones out by cutting a V-shape in the flesh to make for a more successful removal of bones. Mackerel bones are however very small and some may slip through the net! Please note that we provide the fillets skin-on due to the delicate nature of the flesh.
